Personal Goals

Your Personal Goal Achiever Exercise

The following process involves the science of Mind-Kinetics®, the art of training the brain to open closed thinking cells and, at the same time, release solutions from our highest creative centers to a challenge or goal. Tools, like 'Goal Achiever' liberate us from old thinking and old habits.

A simple way to do this exercise is to have someone read each point to you since your eyes will be closed. Enjoy!

1.   WRITE DOWN YOUR GOALS:
Having completed the exercise 'Happiness in 7 Areas of Life' select your number one priority goal. Close your eyes and take a couple of deep breaths from your diaphragm.

2.   CALM THE MIND:
In your mind's eye, see something from nature.
It could be a rose, a daffodil, a tree, a field of green grass, or rolling ocean waves.
Allow this picture to soothe your spirit.

3.   FUTURE PROJECTION:
Now, project your mind into the future to see yourself having already achieved the priority goal you wrote down a moment ago.
Hear the joyful sounds around your life is celebrating because you have achieved this goal.
See beautiful colors around you, their colors even more vivid because you have achieved your goal.
Touch the rich fabrics or materials like wood or sand around you. Whatever is around you, enjoy the textures as they ground and center you.
Feel comfortable in your heart and mind knowing that you have achieved this goal with honesty and respect for yourself and others.

4.   MAKING A DIFFERENCE:
Next, as you see yourself in this future time, make a note of how your life will be different as a result of your achieving all this goal.
See yourself making a big positive difference to your own life, to the people around you and to the planet.

5.   FEELINGS:
Think about what positive feelings come to mind for you.
Feelings like happy, empowered, supported, loved, respected, etc. could come to mind.

6.   MAGNIFICATION:
Once you have these positive feelings, magnify them in your mind 100X.
Then magnify them even more to 1000X.
Finally, make them as big as you can!

7.   ANCHORING THE POSITIVE:
Now, take those huge wonderful feelings and allow your mind to turn them into a positive symbol, object, color, feeling or sound.
Once you have that place it into your heart.

8.   WRITING DOWN THE ANCHOR:
Open your eyes and write down what symbol, object, color, feeling or sound you received.

9.   WHAT DOES THE ANCHOR REPRESENT?
What does this [symbol, object, color, feeling or sound] represent to you? Mean to you?

10. HOW IS THE ANCHOR A SOLUTION?
How is this [symbol, object, color, feeling or sound] a solution for you in terms of achieving your goal?

11. PLAN:
Create a plan of action making sure to put time frames to your plans.

12. ACCOUNTABILITY and COMMITMENT:
To whom would you like to be accountable to for the achievement of your goal?
What commitment are you willing to make to yourself, your loved ones and others?

 

Bravo! You've done it.
You have now programmed your unconscious to be in a state of desiring to achieve your goal.
